Kids’ Clothing Exchange: October 2023

HOW DOES IT WORK? Bring in clean (washed), gently-used children’s clothes, sizes newborn through 20, or children’s shoes. For clothing or shoes donated, you will receive a ticket to swap for a different article of clothing or pair of shoes at the exchange.

Diaper Drive: May 15 – June 19

Did you know: 1 in 3 families in the US experience diaper need? Because of this, the Gates Public Library is once again partnering with The Junior League of Rochester Diaper Bank to host another Diaper Drive.

UPDATED: Donations in Support of Ukraine

The Gates Public Library, together with the community, will be collecting goods for the people of Ukraine. Donations will be accepted through Friday, April 15th. Goods will be distributed by Alpha European Grocery & Deli.

Junior Friends Is Back!

The Junior Friends are library volunteers ages 9 – 16 who meet year-round and help the library with book sales, programs, and decorations, among other fun things. We also get involved with community service activities. Join us Tuesday, September 14 at 4:00 pm in the meeting room! Registration is required for this first session only.
