Recycle Your Crayons Here!

In partnership with Walt Disney Elementary School, we are now a Crayon Collection location for your recycled crayons! Bring your crayons to the jar at the entrance of the Children’s Department and we’ll send them on to their next adventure!

Congratulations, Miss Hannah!

After almost 12 years at the Gates Public Library, Miss Hannah will be leaving us to start a new job! Her last day with us will be on Tuesday April 5th. She will be holding one last storytime that morning at 10:15 am.

UPDATED: Donations in Support of Ukraine

The Gates Public Library, together with the community, will be collecting goods for the people of Ukraine. Donations will be accepted through Friday, April 15th. Goods will be distributed by Alpha European Grocery & Deli.

Make sure to join us for storytime at the library! We have different programs on different days, so there are many options to choose from! Mondays Baby Storytime – 9:30 am-10:00 am. For ages 0-2 with a caregiver. Stories, songs, fingerplays, and more, followed by playtime.

Trick or Treat Around the Library

Join us for our annual Halloween celebration on Friday, October 29 from 10:00 am – 11:30 am!  We will have a few stories and games, followed by trick or treating around the library!  For children of all ages with their caregivers. Costumes are welcome!  No registration necessary. Walk-ins welcome!
