Great Courses
The Monroe County Library System is excited to offer The Great Courses through Libby! The Great Courses offers university-level courses for lifelong learners on just about anything and everything. Find it under “Extras” in the Libby App, or on your computer or laptop.
Hoopla is a streaming/download service that offers thousands of popular ebooks/e-audiobooks, movies, TV shows, music albums, graphic novels, and e-magazines. Hoopla titles can be streamed or downloaded to your smartphone, tablet, computer, and select TV digital media players. Hoopla is available to Gates residents only and limited to 4 titles per month (except for Bonus Borrows and BingePass as explained below).

Kanopy features a large selection of streaming movies, documentaries, world cinema, TV series, and more. Most titles require tickets to view; Gates patrons are allocated 10 tickets per month, and each title uses 1-5 tickets. Some titles, including the Kanopy Kids collection, allow unlimited viewing for 0 tickets (use the “0 tickets” search filter to search unlimited viewing titles).
