Board Recruitment
Library Board Trustee is a service position within your community who provides a voice in charting the direction of your local public library while helping to make decisions for the library’s future. All interested candidates may submit a letter of interest and résumé for consideration. Applications will be forwarded to the Library Board President and reviewed as positions become available.

Board Meetings
The Gates Public Library Board of Trustees meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month (except November and/or December, when it meets on the third Wednesday to accommodate the holidays). There is a shorter meeting in August to approve claims only.
All meetings begin at 6:00 pm at the Library. Meetings are posted on the program calendar and are open to the public.
