Remembering Pushp

Sep 5th, 2014 at 10:55 AM

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of former library clerk Pushp Bansal. Pushp worked for the library for 23 years. She was the type of person who brightened the day with her presence.  Her smile was beautiful and genuine, and her laugh came often and was infectious. She always worked with utmost care to insure each patron was acknowledged and helped. As bookkeeper, she kept track of the library’s finances. When she became the Adult Services clerk, she ordered and processed all of the adult books for the library, a very important job in our library, with our large and diverse collection. In addition, she took part in many other staff events and committees. Kind and generous of spirit, she was an integral and loved member of our library family, and we shall miss her deeply and always.
